The Perfect Pair

The Golden Lion Tamarin is famous for its striking reddish-orange to golden fur and distinctive mane that frames their dark, relatively hairless faces, giving it a lion-like appearance. Its greyish, bare face with dark eyes and flat nose is characteristic of this small New World monkey species. ​Golden lion tamarins are an endangered species native exclusively to the Atlantic coastal forests of Brazil.
